Some considerations for poultry research trials:
1- Have the end user (the industry) in mind when designing a trial.
2- Don’t over-complicate the trial design.
3- Variation is a challenge. Try to minimize it.
4- Sufficient replicates for each group/treatment.
5- Sufficient number of birds in each replicate.
6- Blocking is important.
7- Making research feed is tricky. Be diligent.
8- When reporting the data, try to connect the dots.
